Since 1998, Greg
Chase has operated and published Destinetion Online Marketing and Travel Guides.
Destinetion publishes online guides to all 50 US states, major cities and over international locales.
He has also established or enhanced
web presences for
a number of organizations including the Lester B. Kabacoff School of Hotel
Restaurant and Tourism Administration at the University of New Orleans, Vandamere Press and ABI Professional Publications. He
has also have provided consulting services to organizations such as United Cerebral Palsy
in the area of web marketing and promotion .
Chase currently
serves as a Web Content Manager with Fairfax County where he redesigned and
manages the website of the Fairfax
County's Department of Planning and Zoning. Previously he served as Coordinator of connect.uno, the University of New
Orleans (UNO) web-based program to assist the Business Community in locating UNO resources and services that help to facilitate
business and economic development interests. The site served as a business
portal to the New Orleans area economy. In addition to managing the
program he is responsible for all content and technical aspects of web site
development, marketing, promotion and program administration. Through connect.uno he also developed and managed the UNO
web-based online New Orleans regional economic development marketing campaign, "New Orleans Works."
Previously he marketed
and promoted Fairfax County as a business location (Washington, DC metro area,
population 1,081,726) for the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority and
Convention and Visitors Bureau . His responsibilities included
development and management of the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau web site,
publications and literature for tourism and conventions and meetings. His experience
also includes an extensive background in local government administration and program management. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from the
University of New Orleans.
